Katarina and Matthew met in the summer of 2023. Both were looking for 'their person', but never could have imagined that a chance encounter on the dating app Bumble would lead them to achieving their dream. When they first met, they were living about 2 hours apart, with Katarina living on the Isle of Wight and Matthew in Eastleigh. This made initial dates a challenge, but through many messages and meetings, Katarina and Matthew quickly fell for each other. Before long they would travel back and forth on the weekends to see one another while they continued to build their relationship.

Fast Forward to Christmas 2023. After 5 months of dating the couple felt certain they were ready to take the next step in their relationship. They exchanged promise rings as a symbol of their love and commitment for one another. These very rings are what will become their wedding bands on the date of their ceremony.

2024 proved a challenging year for the couple, with Katarina returning home to the USA as her UK visa required at its expiration. Despite the transatlantic separation and the challenges the couple have faced since, their love for one another has never been put to question and they are now ready to tie the knot with their closest friends and family.
